Posted - 11 December 2007 : 01:59:58 As for Yolanda, I deny any relationship unless she has loads of boodle and wants to leave it to a fellow clansman Equally, I deny any relationship to Richard Reid - he who wished to fly really high |

Posted - 11 December 2007 : 01:52:17 It might help you to know Dikissi that way back when, I described a walk from Chorio to Drakos, to the Pedi valley and then to Pedi. However, I was attacked in the valley by a GINGER turkey - which I believe to be a descendant of a Symi dinosaur But to revert to the Dracos discussion, I scrambled around the site a good bit, but could not gain access to inside the square wall below the footpath . For those who wish to know the route, Lance Chilton's book is quite good, but after leaving Dracos, is a bit vague about the route down into the valley So be careful. for their lurks the GINGER turkey, protecting a couple of male bovines |

Posted - 08 December 2007 : 00:15:51 .....brilliant Kon! Kojak's right of course, it was a case of the the well leading the well so I'm sure it took us twice as long to get anywhere than it should have done having taken twice as many steps as we needed to get from A to B with a few accidental detours on the way ....hic! |

Posted - 06 December 2007 : 23:44:57 Well it was walking of a fashion....something along the lines of one stagger forward and three staggers back, with the occasional crash into a pile of tiles coming down the Kalistrata....hic ! |

Posted - 06 December 2007 : 23:10:13 What a weird thread this is! It started life as 'Walking Books' (or 'Boots'?), moved on to tea and somehow from there to 'bits', and has now been brought back to walking - albeit now of the kind. I await further developments with interest!!

Posted - 06 December 2007 : 17:06:29 Neil I had an idea of a walking tour of Symi once all the way to the ruins of Draco, but I couldn't get any further than the monastery of Alithaenee and they were celebrating. I don't know if you know that you have someone carrying your last name in Florida, my friend Yolanda Reid who is coincidentally also from Canada. |

Posted - 02 October 2007 : 00:43:59 Mazie will get a long sought opportunity to examine "bits" when she does her time at the vets Might even get a plateful of "Prairie Oysters" prepared for her if she takes the said "bits" to lets say Stefanos at Filos for preparation There she can wash them down with a couple of Mythos hence sating her thirst, her appetite and indeed her curiosity But oh, the view from the top level dining area at Filos |
