Last year they raised a record number of donations for worthy causes in the U.K. despite the recession. I worked in a call centre who were involved in manning the phones taking donations from members of the public and personally took a call for a £1500 pledge.....lets hope that this year they beat their record again.

Did anyone watch the great event last night that Gary Barlow (from Take That) set up at the Royal Albert Hall? Well done him, there was a good and diverse mix of artists and everyone really entered into the spirit of things.
