I expect our administrator has taken one or two of St Nick's. Doubtless these may make an appearance somewhere.

In Greece, time is merely an idea in the mind of God.

No Kojak this was not my Shirley Valentine experience...just a simple boat trip from Pedi to the next bay!

It was an innocent question Mazie . A certain taverna owner who used to run a boat trip would often suggest to ladies of his choice that he knew of a nice place to swim, in the next bay, very quiet, just the two of them etc. etc. When I first saw the film and Tom Conti came out with those words I felt sure that whoever came up with the storyline must have been to Symi!

Trust me Kojak, that certain taverna owner and Tom Conti isn't the only Greek to have used that phrase.

Think I may have encountered said taverna owner assuming he is half way up the Kali Strata!

The one I had in mind is at the top, but I know the one who used to be halfway up very well. I was to be best man at his wedding but fortunately I managed to talk the English girl out of it!

She had a lucky escape.

I remember once being told that the gorgeous Greek men think English women "are easy" , the person concerned became very indignant when I pointed out to him that actually English women think Greek men are easy ....funny old world isn't it?
