Ahem...
"The Symi Visitor website also affords the chance to ask questions on the lively noticeboard and chat page, which is inhabited by an eccentric and welcoming group of old Symi hands"
Who are you calling old?
Eccentric I'll accept but old? |

Do pay attention, Allan. It's only your HANDS I'm calling old.
I dunno, why do I bother, eh? I mean, what's the point of even trying when no-one reads it properly, weeks of work, wearing my keyboard to the bone and who gives a f.... |

All jokes aside i actualy think it was a great write up of Symi Jon you hit the nail right on the head with the "OLD" bit i would say if we added up all our ages it would be 100s of years of experiences and an ubundent of knowledge on this one particular little paradise in the Agean called Symi. |

| Seriously, thaks for all the positive comments, people. It's already had over 50 views. Adding votes and comments (honest ones!) to the article can give it more prominence - so if you have a moment... |

I dont think us Scottish visitors can visit anymore after June next year with Olympic. Alan any chance you could ask some questions. Ian could perhaps shed some light. thanks |

It looks as though the Olympic flights switch from Glasgow to Newcastle halfway through July since the booking dates continue from then to September. Is this because they didn't get enough Rhodes bookings last year, I wonder?
Looking at the Bristol flights, Olympic are running flights on each day of the week during different months instead of the old Wednesdays and Saturdays. All very strange. |

It'd be a pain, but could you fly to Bristol and on from there? Have a look on http://www.travelrepublic.co.uk/default.aspx
Otherwise, we may have `Lazy` up and running by then. We'll come and pick you up if you like. |

If we Scots are desparate for a visit to Symi then we will have to pay more as Thomas Cook is still flying Edinburgh to Rhodes throughout the summer. Can we Scots get accomodation only from Olympic? |
