Oh dear I do hope it wasn't too painful !
Alas I know the ouzo ambush rather well , especially when in the company of a certain gentleman who at least always has the decency to ensure I get home safely even if I failed to have dinner with him as planned ...and on one such occasion caused him to collapse with exhaustion in the harbour on his way back to his accommodation!

Yesterday is experience, tomorrow is hope... today is getting from one to the other. |

It happens. Self-ambushes can be the worst but at least we managed to get your mobile phone dried out Mazie... |

It has been squally since last night and the Sunflower sign just went for a short flight.
The Proteus could be in for an interesting time, docking in the cross wind! |

| What is the outlook for the next few days? We arrive next Wednesday. Have had a look at the forecast but local knowledge is so much better. I always think that the people livng in the area have a much better idea of what the weather actually feels like. I know over here a lot of the weather forecasts seem to be a work of fiction. What I see out of my window rarely tallys. So what to I bring with me my rainmac and wellies or my bikini(I wish?) |

Four YEARS ??? It took me about four MINUTES - also in the 1980s. The first sip was horrible but the second glass was delicious! |

Yes, it slipped down like a dream! (Not the way that smiley is supposed to be used, I know, but it does look very appropriate!) |

I too have been ambushed by ouzo, enough times to have learned the lesson. I've also been ambushed by Raki in Crete, a fate which is even worse! |
