Hello
I am counting down until I arrive in Symi and I now have 8 sleeps until I am in the big hairy plane in the sky and i was wondering if there was a big welcoming committee on the harbour with a cold beer and a big banner with "Hellooooo freckle face and Chums" on it? No? Oh what a shame. But I have been following this site and its messages very closely and I am slightly concerned that I won't have time to have a holiday after I have searched for Trouble and her kittens, fed Lugless Douglas a right big tin of tuna, inspected and modelled in front of the new webcam, tried all the restaurants that have been recommended, played with the new thermometre and investigated the new owners of the Jean and Tonic bar. I'm going to be just plain exhausted and will have to return for another week, a fortnight after I've left. Shame.

Hey Freckle Face....I definitely think around end September/early October you will be in need of Symi sunshine, sand, sea and s......ouvlaki .
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy your holiday in oooo.... I guess it will be 7 sleeps time now . |

| Having just watched the synchronised diving and stated that "I could do better than that", I shall rise to the challenge and synchronise my cartwheels past the fab new webcam in the minute that it doesn't refresh!!!! 3 sleeps to go and bouncing with glee. It all looks fantastic. I may even cartwheel me to the harbour from Rhodes. That'll be fun! |

I would like to thank you all for turning out for the welcoming party when I arrived on Symi last Wednesday. There were people EVERYWHERE and I was just so touched that the gorgeous people of Symi had heard all about me and turned up in their masses to welcome us. I was so touched (and squashed).
Did you see me cartwheel in front of the newer webcam? I did them in abundance every day in order for you to be entertained and amused.
Did I forget to forewarn you?
Ooops.
You must have missed them then.
