Hi all, just five days to go before we return to the Island for two weeks for the second time , following our visit last year. Yeah, we've got the Symi bug that makes you just have to return, we're so excited. Anyone being lately? how's the weather and what restaurants are particulary good this year?
Perhaps if any other symi visitor members are there we can all catch for a sociable or two!!

However I think you may find there'll be some rather interesting characters there at the same time as yourselves...listen out for the 'big chime' as a text message arrives on a 'certain persons' mobile phone !
Yesterday is experience, tomorrow is hope... today is getting from one to the other.
we got back a few weeks ago after a mega holiday! we liked the Vapori bar in the harbour on an evening and the restaurant at the top of the kali strata (think it was called georgio and maria's).Also the International Taverna has a lovely 4 cheese saganaki! have a great time! i'm sure you will!!!
Thanks maziemoo I'll keep an ear out for the chimes..! shame your not there but you'll still be looking forward to your time there when we're back in misarable and cold UK with me feeling a bit like and Cazscho I agree, we remember the Vapori from last year, it's a good place for a few drinks whilst watching the world go by or should I say the pace of life Symi style.
