It's grey, wet, miserable, November and xfactor still hasn't been banned under the Geneva Convention.

Someone say something to cheer me up, please!

No sun - no moon!
No morn - no noon -
No dawn - no dusk - no proper time of day.
No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease,
No comfortable feel in any member -
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds! -
November!

In Greece, time is merely an idea in the mind of God.

Only 7 weeks until the days start getting longer. Summer is on its way.

Summer wasn't on it's way when I had to go out earlier! Why do the heavens open the moment I stick my nose out of the door?

Just been watching `Oliver!` in front of a log fire, eating toast with strawberry jam. It's not all bad...

(And it's just come up on the news that the Somali pirates have agreed to swap their hostages for the entire cast and production team of X Factor, who will never be seen again! Life gets better and better!)

Eleanor, anyone who goes to Symi on a regualar basis HAS to be an intellectual by definiton! Wanting to watch X Factor can probably be cured with a few years of therapy. Or some ouzo.

Most things can be cured by ouzo. I've been applying it liberally for years...
