Can't say I have ever experienced a Symi biscuit. What have I been missing?

Lots, Bina, lots!

Which kind did your aunty Lemonia send you the recipe for, Kon?

My favourite actually is the little Symi cheese pies from the bakery opposite the Roloi bar. Just enough mint and not too greasy.

Oh this is too much. I've been thinking about biscuits all morning.

Once the cast iron stove is lit in the evenings and the oven is up to temperature it just begs to be used so there's always the temptation to bake a few batches of something interesting... In the summer the whole idea of lighting the oven and generating heat in general is just too horrible to contemplate but winter is a different story altogether.

Who needs scented candles when cinnamon and vanilla perfume the kitchen?

Do these biscuits keep for a long time Adriana? From the winter baking season to, oh, say June for instance?

Enough allready!
I'm trying to stop eating so much and all this talk about cookies and biscuits make me hungry!

(darn that sweet tooth of mine!)

Looks like I need to run a feature on biscuit and cookie recipes..

The last time we had a really heavy almond crop I made lots of amaretti. Almonds of course are really good for you being full of lots of vitamin A and D and serotonin or whatever that stuff is that is supposed to be good for your brain - which is why almonds in all forms, including marzipan, are a health food, just like halvah and dark chocolate...

My favorite is dark chocolate with almonds, but hazelnuts will do, very healthy but my jeans don't like too much of the stuff

If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping in a closed room with a mosquito
