Poll Question:
Was just wondering who's coming to Symi in the Autumn this year.

Choices:

September, 1.- 15.
September, 16. - 30.
October, 1.- 15.
October, 16.- 31.
No way, Symi is best in the Spring!
No more Symi trips this year!
Not sure yet!

In that case Tove, I might bump into you as I will be offering my services again this year.

I spent a day with the vet last year and it was really nice to be able to do something worthwhile for the island and a great way to meet some of the locals and ex pats.

I noticed several moggies in need of attention during my visit in May...seems such a shame the strays and even some of the owned cats dont have ready access to treatment.

Yesterday is experience, tomorrow is hope... today is getting from one to the other.

When I made enquiries during my last visit I seem to recall being told he would be there round about 3rd October.

Yesterday is experience, tomorrow is hope... today is getting from one to the other.

Yes, Martin will be here on 3 October, sponsored by the Symi Visitor.

This time he will be working in collaboration with an Italian vet.

They always need volunteers Millie. If you turn up on the first morning and tell them your availability they can then rota you in depending on who else has offered their services of course.

Adriana do you know where Martin will be setting up shop yet or is it a little too early to know that?

I am going to organize the volunteer timetable and we need a lot of volunteers because this year we will have two vets in the surgery, Martin and the Italian, Marta. We will have the surgery in her house in Mavrourouni all up from the old SV house, but with access from the road in the back.We need 3 volunteers in the surgery all the time and a lot collecting cats, driving an so on.We will try to get some more dogs this year, there are a lot of strays at the moment, but it is not easy. There are some news about the organisation on symidream.com. So Mille go for it, you can stay in my house if you will volunteer!
