The Symi II came in at one so there probably weren't enough people to justify the Symi ferry.

The health hydrofoil came in this morning - the doctors all jumped ship the minute it docked and said they had been sick as dogs on the crossing over from Rhodes!

I remember that storm. By some freak the torrent rushed past the house that Derek was living in just by the church, leaving him unscathed.

There were similar scenes in the harbour last October but as it was dark the photos weren't much cop.

Just in case anyone is interested, I have just put up some photos I took from the Symi Visitor terrace a few minutes ago.

Thanks, Jerry. Symi is so photogenic even a basic digital camera in the hands of an amateur like me can produce good results!
