Does anyone have any idea whether the Dodekanisos Pride will be running from Rhodes to Symi at 3pm on Wednesday 3rd Setember. We have checked their website and it looks like the Pride finishes at the end of August, other than the Symi 2 at 7pm are there any other larger boats leaving the commercial harbour before 7pm
Always exciting, the ferry schedules, aren't they? The dear old Proteus leaves at 12 noon or is that too early?
The website schedules are rarely complete and I don't know what's happened to the Pride either. ANES do circulate an unpublished schedule around Symi and there may well be someone there who can give you more information. I suppose that we are fortunate to have the Symi II still running.
In Greece, time is merely an idea in the mind of God.
There are a lot of very annoyed people on the island at the moment as the Dimitroulla has broken down and those who need to get their vehicles back to the mainland after the holidays are stuck.
Of course the news of the breakdown only broke after the Proteus had departed at 6 a.m this morning...
The secret to survival is a well developed sense of the ridiculous.
Only one more week to go Thought we would get the Pride over at 3pm. Checked the Dodekanisos website and found it was no longer running So its the Symi11 then. Oh well as long as we get there
many thanks for that Bill, when I looked at their wed site the other day, for some reason it said that route no longer exists. Seem to be o.k. now. So if our flight is on time we will be in Symi by 4pm.
